Forging process can refine the grain structure and improves physical properties of the metal. Forgings are consistent from piece to piece, without any of the porosity. CNC machining and coating operations are thus simply and straightforward due to the good physical structure and surface condition. Sand casting, however, offers the variety of shape and options of multi-openings, and is thus more suitable for complex designs. |
